My name is Daniel Mangarov. I was born in Bulgaria and moved to the United States when I was four years old. I started playing in a academy in Atlanta, Georgia for a few years and then starting playing Atlanta United's MLS academy for 4 years. I was also part of the U-14 and U-17 U.S. Men's Soccer team and participated in games and tournaments with them. I started my college career at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I had a very good first year and halfway through my second year, I transferred to the University of Virginia. During my 4.5 years in college, I played a total of 87 games (5991 minutes). I started 79 of them and had 12 goals and 19 assists. Now that I'm finished with college, I have a very big interest in playing somewhere in Europe. Although I have a few opportunities in the United States, my dream is to go overseas and play in the bigger leagues.
